nothing of a former trial, Harrison asked me if I was coming down as a Witness, Harrison never said any thing to me about being a Witness before. Harrison's oldest sister was about 15 years. Witness is certain there were no other persons besides those mentioned at Harrison's house that night.

Witness knows Harrison. Witness was on John Cliett's plantation on he night when Mr. Bassett's house was broken open. He was in Harrison's house from 6 to 11. O Clock that night & Harrison was there all the while, Dick, Mary Lucinda, Wanda, Linda were all that were there besides Witness & Harrison. Witness was cutting stocks for the Saw Mill never saw Harrison after 11. O Clock. Harrison's child was sick & [[strikethrough]] he [[/strikethrough]] has got well. Dont know how long it was sick never heard any thing about the child's being sick after that night. Witness & Wife lived in Mr. Cliett's yard. Witness & Harrison was very intimate & friendly. -

Witness became acquainted with Mitchell last summer I saw him once or twice, - It was on a rainy Sunday night was at Mitchells house & staid there all night there was a woman sick in the house & she called Mitchell up several times to make a light. some persons called Mitchell out between 9 & 10 O Clock. Mitchell went out & returned in four or five minutes & went to bed. Witness rose early next morning at day break
