4) Plant artist--a sort of artist-in-residence--to paint and sketch plant activities, the men at their jobs, the men. The morale value of this would be considerable. During the last war the artist Gerrit A. Beneker was assigned to paint for sagging worker-morale on Army and Navy construction at Potomac Park; posters, worker portraits, construction, etc. Three million copies of his worker-poster "Sure, we'll finish the fight" were struck off.
