The Symbol of Unique Service to the Art World

The American Federation of Arts was founded in 1909 with the objectives of unifying art interests throughout the country, increasing interest in and appreciation of art by making it available to communities remote from established art centers, and clarifying its place in everyday life. Educational activities include Traveling Exhibitions, Illustrated Lectures, the Package Library, Information and Advisory Services. Publications are the Magazine of Art, American Art Annual, Who's Who in American Art, color prints, monographs on artists and miscellaneous art books.
