Francis is covering corn, Mary & Mark washing dishes, Alfred has prepared his lunch and gone to his job on a chimney near mousey[[??]] and I am very homesick & would not mind staying. 

Last night, as we returned from the Children's day exercises at the church, where of course we are only onlookers, the full moon came out over the woods, with broken clouds
around, in such splendor that it hurt your eyes to look her [[strikeout]]full[[/strikeout]]
in the face.

"Oh, Gee" I am meloncholy [[melancholy]], so will not write more at present.
