Dear Frank,

Thank you very much for sending me the interesting poster commemorating the Norton Lectures you are delivering at Harvard. You were especially thoughtful to take the time to write a few kind words. Your comments make the poster just that much more "special", and I shall enjoy it for the rest of my days.

In the business world I've found that so few clients ever say "thanks" - unless to do so is calculated to provide for potential future gain. That's why the arrival of you poster is such a refreshing and welcome surprise.

As I mentioned to Paula when I sent her the most recent edition of Harvard Magazine referring to your lectures, I thought the editor said a great deal in one sentance. As you've probably noted Harvard is generally more guarded in its assessments. Congratulations!

I hope you find the remaining months of your stay in Cambridge interesting and rewarding from your personal perspective. To allude briefly to Charles Schulz "Peanuts", I'm certain the Harvard community is receiving much more that its "fair share."

Yours truly,

Ward
