If the stone were thick it would be very valuable - but it is a beautiful color - I have my eye on another - a cinnamon colored diamond set in white diamonds in square rather antique style. There are others I have thought of for these seem the best so far. I see a bewildering lot of rare colored stones at the working jeweller's where H takes me  - and it is always a pleasure to go there - Henry is very thorough you know in everything he does, and you may be sure he will not let me be precipitate in executing your little commission. lately. I am so glad Owen has been so useful again - Please remember me to him and tell him I said so. That naughty Annie, who has so neglected me - when no one knows better than she how much one need letters when one is far from home, does not deserve even a word of love - but I cant help sending it to her. Five weeks today since I received her only letter and I thought she would write to me every week. My love to Alice and thanks for her note.
