Mr. George Grey Barnard,

Moret-sur-Loing, France.

Dear Sir:-

We have in Dallas a Public Art Gallery about 40 feet in circumference, in which one of our deceased citizens was very much interested. His wife is figuring on donating to the Gallery a figure or group in marble, to set in the center of the room, bearing a memorial tablet. Her idea of cost is around $2,000.00 or $3,000.00, but if a suitable subject were proposed, and expenditure of $5,000.00 might be arranged.

If you would be interested in the matter, would be pleased to hear from you.

Yours very truly

E.L. Flippen
