GEORGE NAKASHIMA WOODWORKER
NEW HOPE PENNSYLVANIA

March 23 1954,

Dear Ben:
For some little time past the presence of this business has been gathering the best of us and we are now in the process of trying to tidy it up. One of the quiet places where we will have to cut is in the way of architecture.
I cannot go into the sort of thing we have done across the road where I am held builder as it adds so much to my responsibilities with no profit at all.
In relation & your work I can be of help in the overall design and some drawing if you wish. From there on, I would suggest that you make arrangements with Francis Lovett River Road - New Hope - Pa N.H. 2223. We have done 3 jobs together and he knows how I like things and understands my methods. If you could make all financial [[strikethrough]] as [[/strikethrough]] and business agreements with him (excepting for what I would do in the way of design, I would appreciate it.

Best regards George
