Dear Ben and Bernarda,
How can we Nakashimas thank you enough for all you Shahns have given us this Christmas? Kevin is enthralled with his Decalogue; now all we have to do is get a proper frame. Mummy loves her engraving and I my ink rubbing; Daddy seemed to regard the magnificent wood block with almost mystical awe. And besides all these treasures for which we shall have to build an art gallery, you fed us so royally Sunday night we're still  slightly (but very pleasantly) satiated with food and drink - It's almost too much to absorb all at once, so we'll cherish all for many years.
