Dear Ms. Bunn:

Thank you for your periodicals from Lindisfarne. I have received information from Lindisfarne from time to time over the years, and am in sympathy with what you stand for. Brother David, one of your fellows, is an old friend of mine. Also, some years back, I was in correspondence with E.F. Schumacher about his intermediate technology, as we have been practicing it here for something like the last 40 years. I invited him to see what the results might be, and he said he would come to see us, but passed away in the interim.

I think what we are doing here in New Hope would be sympathetic to your center, as what you call meta-industry is something of what we are doing. It is a small-scale furniture production concentrating on quality, selling quite nationally and internationally. We also do something along the same vein in Japan and in India.

With all good wishes,

Sincerely yours,
