January 25, 1982

Mr. George Nakashima
New Hope, Pennsylvania

Dear George Nakashima,

We are in the process of planning 1982 for Pritam & Eames and I would like to invite your consideration of the following. In May, we plan to offer an exhibition of work from today's master-craftsmen: furniture-makers who, either because of their primary influence in the field or because of their role as teachers, would be included. Beside yourself, we are inviting Wendell Castle, Michael Coffey, Tage Frid, Alfonse Mattia, Jere Osgood (Past director of Boston University's Program in Artisanry) and Sam Maloof.

I realize that you do not ordinarily work with galleries but perhaps, as with last year, there may be a piece you could spare for sale for this show as it would hardly be complete without Nakashima representation.

Please do let me hear from you.

In the meantime, our best personal wishes to you, Mira and Kevin.

Sincerely,

Bebe
