Leeds Design Workshops represent uncompromising attention to fine workmanship in contemporary furniture design. This center of selected designer-makers, who run their independent business as Residents of the Workshops, produces unique commissioned pieces with special concern for function and setting. Within this context the Intern Program provides aspiring designer-makers of fine furniture with the strongest possible foundation of skills and techniques essential to their profession
