I have the honor to inform you that I have recently visited Bristol-Goodson, (Va & Tenn) and have ascertained the following facts:
One of the principal streets of the town, (along the center of which runs the State line) divides the village into two parts, leaving Bristol Tenn on the south side, and Goodson Va, on the North - the parts of equal size marking, one compact village -
One good school is sufficient to the demands of the place.
There is a school-house, a mere shell not wroth repairing, standing a mile and a half out of the town, in as bad a location as possible.
