Dear Sir,
I write for your advice as to what I am to do with the cold, lad "Nelson Ducket" of whom I wrote you some time since. He is now entirely beyond my control, - disobedient to the last degree and also very impudent and abusive to my self and wife - I have born this for nearly four years hoping for a time for the better but patience has well nigh ceased to be a virtue, and something must be done with [[strikethrough]] without [[/strikethrough]] him with out delay.
