This school is sustained by Freed Men or by subscription of the Freed men and is situated near the turnpike leading from Shelbyville to Murfreesborough in the 5th district Bedford County we have not received anything from the Bureau except 43 books for Spelling and hymn books for which we thank you kindly Robt Murphree Teacher Oct 29th 66
