Dear Hedda,

I'm "somewhere in Africa" still on my way and I had a lonesome new year's eve thinking all the time you and you again and that some moments gave me consolation and hope and some other moments just black ideas and you just far away and nothing under control or so, I don't know how to tell you now, last night I would have been able to tell you better and I was talking to you all the night, I couldn't
