Dear, your letters of end of May arrived - 5 of them. Lots of things you say and I'd like to answer everything - confusion around and noise - cannot concentrate. You have many ideas and your brains are not lazy as mine are. I enjoyed very much the story of the arctic animal from Reader's digest you sent me. There's one thing you say that I want to answer right now: You say I love you because of instinct of conservation - all right, what's wrong with that? I want to tell you why I love you: because you are smart and pretty and good I love you and I like you and stop that business of trying to find explanations and reasons and discourage me. In a way I'm glad we didn't stay longer together, we won't have to start again something habitual, we'll have to start from the beginning anyway. Don't think I take you for granted you want me but I'm going after you and by god I want you and I'm going to be a meak and try to please you all the time until I'll be sure you love me (and I'll be a meak all my life and I'll love you all my life)

So long dear, S
