Friday evening.

I write you only a few lines now, I'm very sleepy it's only 8 o'clock but I'll go to bed soon (I had some beer with my usual steak) I worked too much today, I wanted to go to Tino's house for the week end but I'd rather finish the work first. Today I had your cable from Hotel Ginelle, I hope it's good and you'll feel well. I really hope that you had this year and I feet toward you like toward a child that had been sick. I wish I were now with you and try to do all I can to make you feel well (I'll be with you soon dear and I'll be brilliant)

Today had a dull day, just work, had telephone calls with Mason of N. Yorker and Nelson about tickets, looks impossible by ship so I'll fly, much easier and simple and I'll ship heavy baggage ahead. (Should I use the address Hotel Le Royal?)
Good night dear

Saturday morning. Beautiful day, am at studio, now before noon. Got up early, worked already 4 hrs. No mail from you. Pity you don't have summer clothing yet. Imagine you very pretty going around along sea, holding bag, mystery, catholic magazine Table rounde, small pad, airmail stationary, talking to somebody I don't know.
