At around six Ward Benett came to have a drink with me (guy doesn't look ever sincere to me in spite of his efforts to be so).  He's going to Europe in August, wanted to know about things etc.

Now 8, had steak and beer, put on my pink suit and I'll go as soon as I finish this letter.  Later on when back I'll write you another letter and mail it to Antibes in case you'll be there till the 24.  Good night dear rabbird, I love you and I'll love you soon, in about a week
