Dear Toshiko,

Just received your letter of Nov. 12 yesterday. It seemed that it got confused and didn't reach me till yesterday.

Gosh I'm very happy and pleased about your meritorious award. I would have liked to see the show. I shall send the article to Lane right away. Good work, Toshiko.

Here in Albuquerque there isn't any crafts [[crossed out]] ex [[/crossed out]] competitions. In fact except for the gallery in the Fine Arts building and one [[Tuson [[Tucson]]?]] Gallery in the [[canyons?]] there isn't very much in the way of exhibition.

I'm glad to hear that you are keeping in touch with Steve Oyakawa. From what I have observed the night at [[Harve's?]] he seems like a very serious fellow searching for something beyond the ordinary.
