Many, many thanks for your thoughtfulness in getting the cable off regarding our Maison de Blanc box - it has arrived safely but it was a great disappointment not to have our home [[strikethrough]] ing [[/strikethrough]] coming gifts for Phyllis and the children with us - you know what a thrill we had in selecting the children's clothes and also Phyllis' they are here so all is well that ends well - 

I am enclosing your check for our lovely painting it looks very beautiful it hangs above the piano on the same wall as the first small painting we got on our first trip.

We are still talking of our pleasant times spent with you. I suppose Henry you and Jesse will be dropping in to our Rue de Odessa cinema every now and then - we all have sweet memories of our nice times spent together, let us hope we may be able to repeat at some future date
 
We had a rather hectic crossing on our return voyage off the Azores we were caught in the tail end of
