Mr. H. O. Tanner,
"Edgewood",
Trepied par Etaples,
Pas-de-Calais, France.

Dear Mr. Tanner:-

There was a party in our Galleries recently interested in securing one of your paintings of a religious subject.

We are writing to ask you whether or not you would be interested in selling one, preferably size 25/30 for $500 or a 20/24 for $350. The party interested is not able to pay anymore than this just now and we thought that if you had one or two pictures which might be suitable that you would like to send them to us and we will see what we can do with them.

Hoping you will let us hear from you promptly and that you will act favorably on this opportunity in view of the present difficult times, we are,

With best wishes,
Yours very truly,
G. T. Nelson
