Mr. H.O. Tanner,
43 rue des Fleurus,
Paris XVe, France.

Dear Mr. Tanner:-

Thank you for your letter of August 26th.

In the first place I am very glad to hear that you are improving in health and I am also glad to know that you are now living in Paris. I think this may be a stimulating effect upon your work.

I think the thing to do is to send us one or two good paintings when you have them finished. We will show them to Mr. Haverty and let him choose one if he likes them and will then try and sell the other. I know you are just as anxious to please Mr. Haverty and to not have one of your work in his collection that is not in good condition.

Assuring you of my kindest wishes, I am,

Yours truly,
Erwin S. Barrie
Manager.
