B.H.117
Aug 20th 1918—

To: Capt. W. Gillespie
From: H.O. Tanner
Subj. Hay at Lafauche—

It seems to me that we should have credit for the hay at the least estimate its value is 6000 frs (six thousand francs.) It was turned over to the Army & is rendering them the value of 8000 frs. As it was gotten in under our service & saved to them by our [[strikethrough]] exertions [[/strikethrough]] effort we should have the credit - Should we not?
