Dear Mrs. Riboud:

As per instructions of the Betty Parsons Gallery, New York, we would like to give you our estimate for transpiration charges of 7 cases containing sculptures and drawings to be shipped from Indianapolis Museum of Art, Indianapolis, Indiana to the Galerie Merian, Krefeld, Germany.

Inasmuch, as the exhibition should be in Krefeld for the opening of the Cologne Arts Fair on September 29, 1973 and the closing of the exhibition in Indiana is on August 26, 1973, we suggest air-transportaion to Germany. The charges would amount to [[underline]]$3,200.00. [[underline]]

If you would ship boat, the charges would amount to approx. $2,850.00.

The advantage to ship by air would be that we have direct flights from New York to Cologne and the shipment could be trucked from the airport to the Fair in Krefeld.

By shipping by boat you have land-transportation from steamer's arrival, Bremen to Krefeld and we are afraid that the deadline for the opening of the exhibition cannot be met. We assume that you would like to have the shipment in Krefeld a few days before the opening on September 24, 1973.

Please let us have your decision, as soon as possible , so that we can plan accordingly. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely yours,
H.G. OLLENDORFF, INC.
