Dear Mrs. Riboud: 

Further to my letter of August 16th please find enclosed a photocopy of the letter we today received from Valerie Merian Edition, Krefeld, which is self-explanatory.

Would you kindly instruct us relative to the next move concerning the exhibition which is currently at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Indianapolis, Indiana, and is scheduled to close there on August 26th. Is this exhibition to be moved to New York and placed in storage here, pending further exhibition, or are we to arrange for further transportation to other institutions in the United States?

Mr. J. Truman of Betty Parsons Gallery, New York, has informed us that the responsibility for this exhibition no longer rests with the Betty Parsons Gallery, and that we are to take further instructions relative to further movements from you. Therefore, we would appreciate your immediate reply.
