Mr. Jock Truman
BETTY PARSONS GALLERY
24 West 57 Street
New York, N.Y. 10019

Dear Jock,

Please find enclosed price-list. I have gone over the list with Betty and slight adjustments can be made one way or the other, according to what you think.

Gennari is willing to participate in Art News announcement. I will see him for the text next week.

I'm enclosing copy of letter to Bertha Schaef [[strikethrough]] f [[/strikethrough]] er Gallery concerning Architectural Brick.

I will try and be as brief as I can about this. I didn't give any details to Betty here because I really didn't want her to know about people like that. The scu [[strikethrough]] k [[/strikethrough]] lpture - the sale of which was promised as a condition for exhibition I made at Schaef [[strikethrough]] f [[/strikethrough]] er's - was only 1/4 paid for, which did not cover foundry costs. When I left they presented me with numerous bills, which it seems I had accumulated - mostly imaginary - and I was forced to cede the sculpture to them as part payment. Marc, without my knowing, then repaid more money to them, thinking he was helping me. So if the Gallery rebuys the sculpture from Schaef [[strikethrough]] f [[/strikethrough]] er, it means I am paying for it for the third time through my own dealer. I would therefore prefer to ship it back to them collect, which is what I am going to do.

I explained enough of this to Betty for her to agree not to buy it. End story.

Crafts Horizon is going to do cover (a detail) of Zanzibar for the March issue. I will ask Betty if she wants to do anything in the magazine. Inside I think there will be 2 or 3 pages.

Will send you shipping details by the end of next week as there are problems in London because of the strike.

Very best,
Barbara

P.S. Enclosed also letter I got from New Bertha Schaeffer Gallery.
Not enclosed will forward (it just said that they had sold sculpture to you and that I should send
