Endorsements on affidavit of Shade Borgian (freedman), dated Savannah, Ga., Dec'r 29, 1866_ charging Capt. I. E. Bryant with fraud in the use of a Land-Warrant belonging to him:

Respectfully referred to the Ass't Com'r for his information - Upon investigation, I find that the Warrant referred to is in possession of D.A. O'Byrne Esq., Attorney of this County - Who informs me that it was forwarded to him by W.H. Mackey from Cincinnati, Ohio, for the purpose of having a proper transfer made - that he has seen Mrs. Ann L., who tells him she sold it to Bogian and is anxious he should have it - Mr. Stevens' estate has not yet been administered upon, and, at present, a legal transfer cannot be made - Mr. O'Byrne informs me he is acquainted with the parties in the case, and they are reliable persons and will do any- thing in his power towards securing justice to Bogian - The Warrant is remembered 44,524, dated October 1st, 1856, from O. Com'r Pensions, Washington, D.C.
