I, however, suggested that she had a right to move where she pleased, and as she had friends in Griffin, I advised her to move her effects to Griffin, as if intending to live here, and then she would have an opportunity of selling her goods and thus supply herself with some money. This suggestion seems to have been answered by her communication to the General.
