In Person before the Undersigned, comes Isabella Harris a person of Color, and on oath saith that she is the mother of a minor colored child a female called Eddy or Edna Harris, and that as the mother of said child she had hired her for the current year to Mistress C.R. Chase of said County. That on the 9th day of February 1867 in said County, one Cap. Colley, a person of color, and one H.S. Linton and one A.J. Ables or Able, agent of said Linton, well knowing that said Edna was so hied, as above stated, did entice, persuade and decoy said Edna to leave the service of her Employer and to leave Deponent, her Mother, and to go out of the limits of this County and State, as deponent believes, to Monticello in Florida without the consent of said Mistress Chase the employer, or of this  Deponent.

Wherefore, Deponent saith that to the best of her knowledge & belief the said Cap Colley and said H.S. Linton and said A.J. Able his agent, are guilty of the offence of Misdemeanor, and that this Affidavit is made that a warrant may issue for  (over)
