Dear Sir -

Mr. Dunning must have misunderstood the Rev. M. D. Wood; or Mr. Wood must entirely have misapprehended the wishes of our Committee. All our supplies (specific donations excepted) are designed for the benefit of sufferers "irrespective of all social, political, or religious distinctions." I shall write to Mr. W. by this mail; &, on receiving his reply, will write you again.
