Agent &c [[stamp]] THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF THE UNITED STATES [[/stamp]] States that Rakestraw has entirely misrepresented the facts in regard to his treatment of freed people & binding out of orphan children &c Encloses letter of D.W. Spence relative to three orphan children in his place & says Lieut. Leonard can testify in his favor &c Wrapper- ( ) Enclosures.
