necessary, since the bath was next door. The builder said I needed it (a minor expense) so I gave in. It's been a busy month - two trips to D.C. to get necessary items. A chair for Bev, and four outdoor chairs for the deck, a 16 ft. ladder and the big thing - a sit on tractor, which we hope will cut the weeks. It was delivered on Wed. - the two kids failed to put a ramp on the truck, so we lifted the 400 lb. monster off, otherwise it would have gone back to the store and been put on the truck next week. Of course, it isnt performing for us. It started up and Bev made one stroke across the yard, then it sputtered and refused to go. An inspection is due to come next week! In the meantime, we're enjoying the 15 ft. giant Ragweeds that have sprung up everywhere. It looks just like a jungle. The birds, rabbits and deer love it and in a way I'll hate to see it go. Oh yes, the 24-25 wild turkeys. The sounds at night are really wild. I heard the racoons roaming the fields last night, giving that peculiar "electronic" sound, and I stayed awake worrying about the pheasants and the quails. They may have all the mice they want (the Mormon tenants claimed they caught 80 mice in one week - confined to the basement, thank goodness!)
