Reports that it is announced by Mr. Buckley Supt of Schools, (letter enclosed) that they are indebted to teachers for their salary to an amount exceeding $4000. States that the Disbursing Officer informs him that there is a deposit of about $7000 in his hands, which was handed to him by Capt Thune, who confessed to have obtained it fraudlently, and asks that the above bill be paid therefrom. |
