Dear [?]-

Good morning.

I'll type because my hand-writing is unsure today (for the reader out of consideration). Cristobal has mononeubiosis and I am nursing him along, since three weeks. I believe it will take another month or so before he is back to normal. Our Easter vacation was spent quietly: I sorted out old files and worked on the book. I came across this early article which may interest you if youv'e never seen it. Junius's article is excellent. I re-read all his books and those of Anni's, too. Now I am re-reading Kubler. Anni's seemed flat to me. Sure but flat.
Paris is cool with a few sunny days. I can walk in the garden nearby and since the Frankfurt project is due to be completed next week, I can begin a lot of new work in the studio=something I am looking forward to. Daniel and I have a show scheduled for the museum of Aix-en-Provence opening June 22nd. It will run similtaneously with the "Festival of Aix" and in the courtyard of the museum (until Oct. 15). He (D.) has gone to Italy to carve marble.
The title: "TRACES ET RELIEFS". The catalog has about 30 reproductions (mostly color). It should be out in May. Melin is doing the the poster in Sweden. I'll send or bring them when I come over. The next trip is to take place in May (West coast). I'll try and let down and have birthday cake with Itaka (she will be 19 the 29th of April)-- our little blond angel of Taxco.
Connie, have you sorted out the Lund slides you want to retain and any of Montreuil? Please let me know so I can use the others and not double up anything. Three new articles have appeared in Japanese magazines and the L.S. book on my work has been updated and is being reprinted there, too. They are so active (not always profound, as we've discovered, but stimu-lating to work with because they realize things quickly).
Israel: it is coming together in stages. The first week of May the museum board will outline the project to the museum benefactors and they will discuss it at their annual meeting in Jerusalem. Fund-raising has begun and is going well. The local participation has been organized and work begins this summer so I will return as that progresses. I have a number of trips planned and sponsored by different groups. As we near the objective I would like to find someone to sponsor you, too. Have you any thoughts, desires, long-standing fantasies about Israel? Make some known to me.
Next year will be the Hotel and Airport year. All my projects for architecture seem to be in traveler's places.

Fondly
Sheil
