December 20

Sheila dear,

Yours received just today. Am rushing attached to you - its wonderful what one can do with fact and fiction. Ralph's will be sent tomorrow from New City.

Re Kite - will talk to Raushenberg about it - also will mention it to Mariette Segal - hope to see her early next week. A nice tie-up for AF and the Biennale. Not a word to Claude or Berger - let me first get his reaction.

ATT at a standstill - no one is supposedly doing a thing re art, commissions, etc., until new art committee is formed, new art consultant located - next steps to be determined. You might drop a note to Stan re the curved conference wall and see what reaction you get directly from him. Frederick has resigned from Kling for private free-lance work. Not a sign of Rosen although I'm told he is on the search committee for the art consultant. I am still being considered (!) so the rumor goes. Couldnt care less at this point.

Next week I'm off for a much needed vacation and then probably Mexico for three weeks to work on the Eames project. Will communicate.

Wish I could be with you for the Beaubourg week - look for George Nelson - I gave him your telephone number.

Abrazos, besos, and heres to our new president - he has to be better! than.....
