Dear Connie - While Cristo and Rebecca are in their meeting at the Japan Foundation in Paris today and things are calm, I send these few odds and ends which consist of the thrown together catalogue of the Swedish show (thrown together by a textile historian who doesn't have a clue about contemporary textiles). EVA Hallstrom, she is a well meaning intern at Boras museum, which is an old spinning factory converted to a living museum where they show vintage knitting weaving and spinning machines in motion to the public twice a day - quite amusing. It makes one feel like investing new ideas in the old machines. Both Junichi and I were tempted to do that if we'd had more time to hang out there. As it was we [[hung?]] a show [[strikethrough]] ([[/strikethrough]] with about 50 items and gave 2 workshops in the local school plus a public lecture with projection of [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] the short film for reactions to an audience of 200 on a snowy night.
