Dear Connie,

I'm drinking strong coffee to get the brain to move this morning. We are cleaning out and dumping tons of things from the studio. My boat is too heavy to sail smoothly and unencumbered.

All of the Saudi cartons for the woven tapestries take up too much room and we will never weave large-scale Aubusson style works again so - out-out-out- I'm saving one painting (full scale) to show how we made these, in case we can include it in the Philadelphia Show.

Thanks for the Dante article on Betty Woodman. I agree with you. He writes very well and is an eloquent voice in the field of art and now craft. Ever since you pointed out his text on Puryear I've been interested.
