I'm weaving a miniature with the irregularly colored stainless steel fiber. It is magical. Each passage of weft changes the previously woven part. Like an ever-changing sky in bronze hues.

In the studio I've been tying knots and making a double-faced - in the round - front and back side composed of a continuous uninterrupted thread (100 meters long white linen thread, when woven, condensed to a square format 40 to 50 cms. piece.

the thread goes around the corner each time, so the finish piece has a pocket in the middle encased on all sides - like the small necklace I gave you only much bigger ([[strikethrough]] tu [[/strikethrough]] about twice the size of this paper)
