Mrs. Sheila Hicks Zanartu
Atelier des Grands Augustins
30 Rue Dauphine
Paris 6, France

Sheila dear:

Just to reassure you, the white mini prayer rug and the M'Hamid are on their way by airmail, insured to Amsterdam. Gerald's piece is being shipped directly from Jack's studio. He is very pleased to lend it and sends greetings to you.

The attached copy of a letter to the AIA is self-explanatory. I sent her as much as I could.

When I heard about the plane crash near Tangiers, I must confess that I thought about Mustapha. What a pity about young lives so mercilessly cut short. I can never become inured to destruction.

I am leaving on Friday the 19th for 10 days in Mexico. When I return I should know more about Vicki and about all my programs and will call you after the February 1 meeting with AT&T. I hope your letter has come forward by this time because we should have something from you on paper for this meeting.

I will call you on the weekend of the 2nd, when I shall most certainly be home all the time.

Love,

MC/cbm
