Sheila dear:

I am trying to answer some letters and see if we can catch up. We are to have a meeting this afternoon and I will dictate a postscript to this letter if there is any discussion about your ATT project. I think that a trip to New York toward the end of the year is definitely in order, because the ATT building will be sufficiently along so that you can choose your site. Will they pay your way?

Also, if you are here, then we can perhaps do something more concrete about the blue cords. Niels Diffrient for American Airlines certainly understands what we're talking about. But just in the event that this doesn't work, and I can get the United States Geological Survey in Reston interested, then I think you would have tossee the site, because nobody in that outfit will understand that theyaare looking at cords on the floor only as a view of the components.

If I know that you are coming I can probably get Niels over to see the cords and then when you are here it can be made more concrete.

Here is the bill on the transportation of the cords from Toronto to New York. I am paying it and you then can get reimbursement from the WCC capitals.

Please see the attached which I have written to Enrique. It seems I can't stay out of these involvements, but in the case of Chile I go ahead.

I am happy that you are grey, I am happy that you are gay, including D.

Are the November dates for my visit with you okay?
