Dear Sheila,

Welcome back. I think that it might be good to get together with Ruth Kaufman the few days that you are back in New York and before your leaving for Japan. I had another typical semi-historical call from her because she really did not know what we are planning. Wednesday or Thursday would be good for me.

I have thought a good deal about an exhibition of your work in Mexico and have decided to set in motion the following, if you are in agreement.

The Centro Cultural de Arte Contemporaneo, which is supported by Telavisa and which is probably the most active and best supported museum in Mexico today, is the place where you should be. The Director is an American, Robert Litman. Did you ever come across him? He surely knows of your work and as I am going to be in Mexico in April I will make it my business to see him personally together with his curator who is also a friend of mine and discuss the matter. Think about what you would like to show so that I can be able to supply information about scope, etc. What catalogue do you think we should send him or should I take with me when I see him?

We will talk about all of this when we meet, first the two of us and then with Ruth, if you agree.

Love,

Mildred Constantine
