The garden of my studio has come on wonderfully and really begins to look like a garden. I did not see any of the dogs, but everything else looked much as usual. Mr Montie Waterbury came for dinner.

Now I am in town again to finish my shopping and see about some things in the studio in town.

Mr Stackpole telephoned that he is sailing tomorrow, he is coming to see me this afternoon to say good bye.

It is nice and fresh today and I imagine it must be perfect in the mountains. I got you a white felt hat that I think [[strikethrough]] it [[/strikethrough]] will look splendid and not get used up as quickly at [[as]] a straw one....
