to you and also to Hiram. do write soon if you have not already for the time seems so long - We have had most delightfull weather, never have slept without a quilt and sheet over us but one night since I came - the whole of the folks here have been as kind as posible  I could not expect more, it is the most delightfull country I ever saw. I often wish Hiram or Father was here  there are such quantitys of birds and fish.

You must excuse the little bit of paper I have but one sheet and could not get any more at present so had to tear it in two so as to write to H. and you both, do write soon and send word how Aunt B - Mrs. Hall and their family Mrs. Steele and all the rest of my friends are and how all at home come on. Give my best love to all who enquire after me. I could write more if I had room.
