Thank you for the letters and photographs— But I have been so over whelmed with [[strikethrough]] the affairs that occurred after, [[/strikethrough]] my mother's death and the affairs that have occurred after it, and Mrs. Dove's illness, and caring for an impossible estate, and selling the boat which he has cared for so much — our former home, that I do not feel at present equal to considering the suggestion you make in your letter, just now about "The Bessie of New York."
