I
All the same why do you do things?
HS
It is because of [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] a permanent need, [[strikethrough]] All [[/strikethrough]] the way you get up and straighten up something that hangs crookedly, [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] a need to correct, improve and arrange. Is there a difference between a face and a head?
HS
I think of them as gazes.
I
Your own face becomes a mirror to them and viceversa. Isn't the most remarkable thing about a face the fact that it can never see itself? Your faces exist. Your struggle, unlike Giacometti, wasn't too make them exist. Yours are surchanged with presence.
HS
Invocated presenses. In the rain makers rituals all they do is make believe that it rains: fill buckets, open umbrellas, etc. etc.
I
