Dear Kuhn Jack,

I have planned to write this Letter even before your desperate telex - Somehow I kept waiting until I had proper paper, dict. etc. together so as to meet your [[strikethrough]]? [[strikethough]] Aproval. finally with none of these at hand I am going ahead.

Yesterday was thanksgiving and though it seemed more like 4th of July I did remember some pleasant ones we had together. the time Win came and we got the big driftwood tree at the beach and had oysters on the terrace. All the times we drove to Vermont and I even moved into the 30th Street Kips Bay on thanksgiving day the same day we went to tochiko's in N.J.

I am still the "darling of Bangkok" and you know how hard it is for me to hold a title like that. I truly love the work I am doing and although I wish the progress went much faster I know progress is being made. at the same time I am working on the collection I am also trying to change things in the store. I won't bore you with details but do hope when we are finished you will at least appear to approve. I may not be professional in that area but it seemed either I improved on things [[strikethrough]] as they were [[/strikethrough]] or go on as things were. It seem better to try and B.B. has given 100% support and by this time a lot of money.
