PHILIP CUTLER - 52 EAST 83rd STREET - NEW YORK- NEW YORK 10028 (212) 628-3312

October 15, 1995

Dear Jack,

Though I knew that at one point you were going to give up full time at Larsen Inc. and concentrate on consulting, your letter came somewhat as a surprise. Each year I have less perception of time. Obviously, this is the time you have chosen for the move and I am so very happy for you. Congratulations!

The main thing that you are going to notice is a renewed energy and interest- not that you have not topped everyone in both those areas! But a change is refreshing and I am sure you will benefit greatly from it. Of all things, I hope this will give you the time that you need to write. You have so many significant things to impart based on your immeasurable knowledge and extensive experience. It is so urgent that you share this and, more so, that it is preserved in writing.

You have always been the most eminent in your field and you are bound to surpass yourself in your new role.

My warmest affection and great respect como siempre.

Philip
