We are accepting your resignation at this time so that we may move forward and create a stunning and successful tribute to your achievements as both an artist and a collector. On behalf of David and myself I know we will endeavor to create a very fine exhibition and catalogue. I have always appreciated your candor and strong options and have greatly valued you as a board member during the time we have known each other. As you have offered, I will continue to rely on your help and input. We may not have agreed on all aspects of our operations, but we all have the good of this institution at heart, and I believe this dialogue has made us stronger institution. I also truly believe that it is our passion for the field and the tough decisions that we have had to make that has helped the Museum evolve to where we are today. Jack, you are an enormous part of the legacy of the Museum. I would like to find an appropriate way to honor your long service as a board member, and will suggest some ideas closer to the opening of your exhibition. In the meantime would you accept the title of honorary Board member? With all best wishes, Holly Holly Hotchner Director 40 West 53rd Street New York, NY 10019 T 212.956.3535 F 212.459.0926 www.madmuseum.org
