Dan McLaughlin was born in Hollywood, California. Attended Columbia University and UCLA's College of Fine Arts and at present is a staff member of UCLA Motion Picture Divison.

Andy Warhol of Chekoslovakian background [[strikethrough]] Of Chek [[/strikethrough]] was born in [[strikethrough]] Philedelphia [[/strikethrough]] McKeesport, Pennsylvania either in 1927 or 1929 - there is some doubt about which year it was, the son of Chekoslovakian immigrants [[Strikethrough]]. He studied at the Carnegie Institute of Technology and has lived in New York since 1952. He achieved much fame as the innovator of a new art [[/Strikethrough]] an outstanding Pop-artist and his faithful silk-screen reproductions of commonly-advertised items and popular heroes and Heroins (Marilyn Monroe) [[Strike through]]. Three years ago he decided to retire from the two dimensional gxoxx [[Strikethrough]] state arts to devote himself entirely to film-making.

has originated some controversy. He has participated in innumerable exhibits including The Sidney Janis, The Guggenheim Muse, The Museum Institute at N.Y. [[Strike through]]. Leo Cantelli Gallery in Californa, Washington Gallery of Modern Art and in many other cities in The Moderna Museet Stokholm, Rouisiana [[Louisiana]] Museum Denmark, xx e Salon de Mai" Paris, France, Germany, Japan etc.
and has had as many one-man shows.
